Character Portraits is absolutely one of my deepest loves of photography. For me there is no greater and more meaningful high then can be achieved by capturing a person in such a light and environment that can so expressively tell the story of who they are.
For me fashion can be one of the most challenging interest of the photography industry. Ideas, almost always way beyond a workable budget. Models, well let’s just say you best be damn good at what you do and sometimes willing to pay. Makeup, many of the mua’s are the coolest people I ever meet but true talent is truly hard to find and working in their schedules often tough. Styling, haha yea still doing my best but recently had a lot of luck with local specialty stores! Set design, yea you ever try to by a real antique truly ornate chase lounge? Finally, Lighting, surprisingly not always a high cost but most certainly a very long time in learning of the skills.
